What is Totapuri Mango Pulp?

Taj Agro Totapuri mango pulp is extracted from fresh, mature, and selected ripened Totapuri mango fruits. Totapuri mangoes are primarily cultivated in Andhra Pradesh.

The Totapuri mango is also grown in the region of Tamil Nadu and Karnataka. Totapuri mango is golden yellow and easily recognized by its beak-like pointed end. Totapuri mango also goes by the names Bangalora, Ginimoothi, Kili Mooku, Sandersha. Though there are many varieties of mangoes in India, Totapuri mangoes are considered to be the most processable variety due to its larger size and smaller seed with higher pulp content. It is a seasonal fruit that will be available in summer season.

How do we process Totapuri Mango Pulp ?

Once the mangoes reach our manufacturing facility, the high-quality Totapuri mangoes are inspected and loaded into ripening chambers. The fully matured Totapuri mangoes are fed into the conveyor belts for further processing. The stones and peels of the Totapuri mangoes are separated by a destoner machinery and sent out by a waste screw conveyor. During the manufacturing process, the samples of the Totapuri mango pulp are collected to check the quality parameters meeting our customer’s specification. We have a central lab facility that has fully equipped machinery to analyze the product to prevent any microbial contamination. All batch samples of the Totapuri mango puree are kept in a cold room for future verification.
