Alphonso mango pulp is extracted from high-quality and selected ripened Alphonso mango fruits. Alphonso mango arrived in India with the help of a Portuguese explorer, Alfonso through Goa. The fruit was then spread to Ratnagiri in Maharashtra, Gujarat, and various parts of South India. There are several varieties of Alphonso mangoes, yet the mangoes grown in Devgad in the Konkan region of Maharashtra are considered the best. Alphonso, the king of mangoes, also known as Hapus or Hapoos in Maharashtra is in great demand in international and domestic markets because of its flavour, richness, and sweetness. It is a seasonal fruit that will be available from April until the end of June. Since the Alphonso mangoes are available only during a particular season, it is more significant than any other fruit. Alphonso mango is widely preferred by mango pulp manufacturers in India because of it various applications in food processing industries.

Alphonso Mango Pulp Processing:
Once the matured mangoes reach our factory, the mangoes are inspected and unloaded into ripening chambers where the mangoes are ripened naturally. After the ripening process, the Alphonso mangoes are fed into the belt for further sorting and processing. The mangoes are then washed with chlorinated and freshwater to eliminate foreign matter. The tip of the mango is cut manually. The destoner machinery separates the mango peels and seeds and the waste is sent out by a waste screw conveyor. We analyze the Alphonso mango puree product to verify it meets our customer specifications. The Alphonso mango pulp is passed through centrifugal separators and decanter to remove speck particles.
Packaging:
The product is finally passed through a sterilizer and packed in aseptic bags in MS drums. Based on the customer requests and requirements, we supply canned alphonso mango pulp. Canned Alphonso mango puree is packed in Clean – tin lined OTS cans fabricated to ensure quality. The cans can be externally lacquered sufficient to prevent rusting. The finished product is stored in our temperature-controlled warehouses. Canned alphonso mango puree must be stored at ambient temperature and not below 4 degrees Celsius. The net weight of the product is 3.1kgs and the 1000 cartons can be loaded per 20 feet container. The net weight of the aseptic Alphonso mango puree stored in MS Drums is 215kgs. 80 drums can be accommodated in 20 feet container and it should be stored at ambient temperature.
